“Deliciously squishy!”
This cuddly, bouncy pillow cover has filled the corners of our homes with coziness. At its heart is the diagonal garter stitch from our Picot-Edge Throw and Afghan pattern. It’s fabulously adaptable and therein lies its genius! It can slant across any sized pillow you’d like (not just the 18” square we did) and blend in wherever you toss it—on your sofa or bed, on a chair or even the floor. We knit the plain-edge version here, but you can add the bobbly picots for a bit of lace-like trim.
We found Berroco to be the perfect mix of soft and quick in our search for deliciously squishy yarns. It blends the softness of alpaca with the springy reliability of Peruvian Highland wool at a nice, chunky gauge. And its saturated, heathered colors provide a great range of choices for any home.
